Park Pals: Trainer‑Led Social Walks for Real‑World Confidence

Build your dog’s confidence, meet friendly owners, and enjoy guided training in beautiful North Down locations.

Park Pals runs weekly themed walks for all dogs — from nervous pups to social butterflies. Each walk is structured, supportive, and designed to help you train safely in the real world.

Current Walking Groups:

1. Park Pals Pack Walk - Thursday Evening 7pm (All Dogs Welcome)

Your weekly dog-friendly adventure starts here. Join us every Thursday evening for Park Pals - a fun, engaging, trainer-led walking group designed to help build confidence, practice real-world skills and enjoy beautiful North Down scenery together. Each week has a different theme, keeping walks fresh, exciting and full of opportunities to learn.

Whether your dog is nervous, energetic or just needs a bit more structure, Park Pals gives you a safe, supportive space to train and connect. These walks are designed to be inclusive of the whole community - please let me know if there are any adjustments you require to make these walks safe for you.

What you'll get:

Location: North Down (various)
Duration: 60 mins

Price: £40 for 5 weeks (£8/session)

2. Puppy Pals - Sunday Morning 11:30 am (12 weeks - 1 year)

Give your puppy the confident start they deserve. Puppy Pals is a gentle, trainer-led walking group designed to build foundational skills, support early socialisation and allow dogs to explore the world safely. These are short, structured walks perfect for puppies who are fully vaccinated and ready to learn about their environment.

Ideal for:

- First time puppy handlers looking to learn basic training and socialisation

- Puppies with vaccinations from 12 weeks ready to socialise in a safe, structured way

- Families who want a child-friendly introduction to training

What you'll get:

- 5 weeks of structured, quiet-hour walks

- A neutral environment for controlled exposure

- A supportive, judgement free community

Time: Sunday Morning at 11:30 am

Location: Bangor
Duration: 30 mins

Price: £25 for 5 weeks (£5/session)

3. Confidence Crew - Sunday Morning 10am (Reactive Dogs Welcome)

Specialised, handler-led walking group designed for reactive dogs, nervous dogs and those who need a safe, structured environment to practice real-world socialisation. These quiet Sunday morning strolls give you the space, predictability and calm atmosphere your dog needs, with trainer guidance available whenever you need it. 

Perfect for:

- Dogs who need space

- Dogs with a bite history

- Handlers who want space for continued training

- Handlers who want a safe environment to work with their dogs

- Distanced, neutrality training

What you'll get:

- 5 weeks of structured, quiet-hour walks

- A neutral environment for controlled exposure

- A supportive, judgement free community

- Small groups (capped at 5 dogs)

Time: Sunday Morning at 10am

Location: Bangor
Duration: 60 mins

Price: £40 for 5 weeks (£8/session)

Terms & Conditions apply. One dog per handler. All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times during the walk. Reactive Dogs are welcome - please ensure trainer is aware of any reactivity issues. Aggressive dogs should be muzzled. Children (under 18) are welcome to specific Family walks if accompanied by a responsible parent/guardian. Safeguarding conditions apply. Aversive training methods or equipment such as prong collars are strictly prohibited.
